FROCKTOBER 2024

With a five year survival RATE OF just 49%, ovarian cancer is the most lethal women’s cancer

Frocktober offers a chance to spark crucial conversations about the challenges of early detection, treatment and prevention while raising awareness of the often-vague symptoms.

By participating, you help raise crucial funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, supporting research aimed at improving detection methods, developing more effective treatments and seeking preventative measures for ovarian cancer.

Plus, Frocktober is a fun and engaging way to unite with friends, family and colleagues for an important cause.

Join us this October in saying #FROCKOVARIANCANCER

Why We're Frocking Up

In early 2023, my gorgeous sister in law Kylie was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She has since spent many days in and out of hospital, receiving treatment and undergoing surgery. So when Frocktober appeared on my insta-feed, I just knew that Ciao Bella Dresses HAD to get involved!

18 months on and Kylie is in the maintenance phase of treatment. You can read my initial blog about Kylie and Frocktober 2023 HERE

The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation's primary focus is to fund ovarian cancer research. Research remains the only solution to save women’s lives. That's why, for the month of October, Ciao Bella Dresses is getting involved in FROCKTOBER and donating $10 from the sale of selected styles to OCRF. If you're not in the market for a new 'fit, but would like to get involved, hit the "DONATE" button below.

Throughout Frocktober I will be sharing my Outfit of the Day, plus facts & tips from OCRF about Ovarian Cancer as well as handing out extra gifts and goodies

Frocktober 2023

Earlier this year, my gorgeous sister-in-law Kylie was hospitalised with symptoms from an illness that continued to escalate. During her stay, we received a phone call with the words that no-one ever wants to hear "The doctors say it might be cancer"

After some investigating, it was confirmed that she had Ovarian Cancer
